IRISH ANGUS PEDIGREE CLASSES
IRISH ANGUS CATTLE SOCIETY ALL IRELANDS 2013

Pre-conditions for entry to all qualifier classes – show championships and RDS


Champion of Champion awards.
(A). Owner of each animal exhibited must be a member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society for a minimum period of 3 months preceeding the Irish Angus Cattle Society All Ireland finals at Strokestown show on September 7th 2013 and animal entered must also have been registered in the owners name in the herd book of the Irish Angus Cattle Society for a minimum period of 3 months preceeding the Irish Angus Cattle Soci-ety All Ireland finals at Strokestown Show. For each individual qualifying show owner of each animal exhibited must be a member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society and each animal entered must also have been registered in the owners name in the herd book of the Irish Angus Cattle Society.
(B) Date of birth & Tag number/Herd Book number must be clearly shown for each entry and this information shall be displayed in the Show catalogue
(C) All exhibitors must have their Irish Angus Cattle Society Herd Book certificate available for production to the Irish Angus Cattle Society’s representative in accordance with the requirements of clause A above.
Qualifier for Irish Angus All Ireland Senior Male Championship & Senior Female Championship
All pedigree Angus Cattle born before 1/9/12 and satisfying the above pre- conditions are eligible. One or more qualifiers to go forward to the All Ireland Irish Angus Senior Championship final on September 7th 2013 at Strokestown Show.

Qualifier for Irish Angus All Ireland Junior Bull & Heifer Championship
There are six categories:

Class A: Bull calf born 1/9/12 - 31/12/12
Class B: Bull calf born 1/1/13 - 28/02/13
Class C: Bull calf born 1/3/13 onwards
Class D: Heifer calf born 1/9/12 - 31/12/12
Class E: Heifer calf born 1/1/13 - 28/02/13
Class F : Heifer calf born 1/3/13 onwards


One or more qualifiers from each category to go forward to the All Ire-land Irish Angus Junior Bull and Heifer Championship finals on 7th September 2013 at Strokestown Show. There will be one champion for each class and one overall Junior champion selected at the finals.

Rules & Conditions
 Breeder/Exhibitor must be a member of the Irish Angus Cattle Society.
 Animal must be registered in the herd book of the Irish Angus Cattle Society from birth
 Confined to Irish Angus Bulls born from Sept 1st 2012 to December 31st 2012
 Breeder/Exhibitor may only qualify two animals for the final. Entry fee for qualifying shows is €20.00
 1st & 2nd prizewinners to go forward to the final.
 Prize money for the 1st and 2nd qualifying animals will be paid on presentation at the final in Iverk.
 Photo of qualifiers must be taken on the day for publication in a feature in the Farmers Journal prior to the final
 Judges decision at qualifying shows and in the final at Iverk will be final.
